Walnut Milk

1 cup walnuts, soaked 4-6 hours or overnight
4 cups filtered water
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp coconut butter

Blend well in the blender.  Drink as a milk.  
Strain it if you like your milk without pulp and save the pulp for making deserts and other dishes.
Use the milk for making smoothies, sauces and soups.

In our experience, you will always find one nut milk that you prefer for some time.  We switched from almond milk to walnut milk, and now make the walnut milk daily.  It is good to rotate them, because each nut has some other specific benefits.
