Best Guacamole
Kalena's Guacamole
Original Mexican recipe
Serves 2
Salsa:
1 sweet onion, peeled and chopped, soaked in lime juice in a bowl (before you peel avocados)
1 lime, squeezed juice (for soaking the onion)
1 tomato, cut and chopped (and added into the salsa bowl)
1 green chili pepper, finely chopped
1/2 tsp of sea salt
Add:
2 ripe avocados, peeled and cut
1/2 bunch cilantro leaves
Mix and mash avocados with all the ingredients in the salsa bowl. Add cilantro leaves.
Serve with leaves of endive, Napa cabbage or Romaine lettuce.
Also served with crackers.
